The work of the international linguistic summit KILS-2021 continues

On November 16, within the framework of the International Linguistic Summit “Language Diversity in the Global World”, plenary sessions, meetings with the chief editors of prestigious research journals were held, as well as the work of several sections.

The second day of the Summit was also full of events. The day was opened and closed by plenary sessions.  The reports of domestic and foreign scholars were devoted to issues of historical, evolutionary and corpus linguistics, as well as clinical linguistics and psycholinguistics.

These issues were discussed in more detail during the session “Clinical and Neurolinguistics, Psycholinguistics”, where the summit participants were able to present their reports and listen to their colleagues. In parallel with the reports, there was an active exchange of information and discussions.

Participants also continued to meet the chief editors of prestigious research journals.

An important event of today was the open meeting of the Department of Typology and Areal Linguistics of the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Plenary reports were presented by the Director of the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences Andrei Kibrik, the Director of the Institute of Linguistic Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences Evgeny Golovko and the head of the Research Center for National and Linguistic Relations of the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Alpatov.
